This site was created using a variety of tools, most notably PSPad. PSPad is a freeware syntx-highlighting code editor. I highly recommend it.

Every graphic on the site was either created or modified using Jasc Software's Paint Shop Pro (or Anitmation Shop for animated gifs.) You can get more info at The Jasc Homepage.

I've tried to keep this site in compliance with industry standards as much as possible. Every page on the site complies with the XHTML 1.0 Transitional specification. The two style sheets that are used for most of the site comply with the CSS 2 specification. You can get more info at The World Wide Web Consortium Homepage.

The web site has been tested in Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox 2.0, and Opera 9.2.

The background graphic used on every page of this site is a GIF that came on one of the CDs that came along with QUE Publishing's Special Edition Using HTML 4 (the second edition, I think.) Since I bought the book, and therefore the software that came along with it, I assume that I'm entitled to use the GIF for any non-commercial project.

The original photos on which my gallery page images are based are all copyright their original photographer, or publisher, or subject. My edited versions have the same copyright holders as the original versions.

In the Trainspotting section, the images, script, and text of the main animated banner graphic are all copyright the filmmakers, or actors, or distributors, or photographers, or whoever else.

All the scans on the Tribute to Philip Burke section of the site are copyright Philip Burke, or Rolling Stone Magazine.

In short, none of these graphics really belong to me. I have no permission from anyone to use any of these images (except for my chosen background graphic.) The presence of an image on my website is not meant to imply my ownership of that image.

Now that I've pointed out what a filthy little scofflaw I am, let me say that I believe my use of these images is authorized as a tribute work. While I am not the copyright holder, I believe my use of these copyrighted works to be federally protected. And of course it helps that my website is a not-for-profit venture which (arguably) serves to enchance prospective public opinion of these copyrighted works.

If you are the copyright holder for any of the works sampled or reproduced on this website, or any authorized agent of a copyright holder, you may contact me regarding my use of your work by writing to me at: joe at feastofcrumbs dot com.

Lastly, while I don't own many of the pieces of my website, I do own my original text as well as the design, layout, and exact structure of the HTML code of this website.
