4. I am prejudiced. I try so very hard not to be, but some stereotypes are just too ingrained for me to override. I'm not racist or sexist or… umm, religionist. No, my prejudice is a bit outside the mainstream. Whenever I see a man wearing a bow tie I automatically assume he's an arrogant prick. Bow ties give me this irrational urge to give their wearers a beatdown and then force feed them their ties while screaming "Supply-side this, you filthy little Reaganites!"
I've been working on it and I'm proud to say I've been showing improvement. I no longer fly into a blind rage at the sight of a wedding party. And I've finally made peace with the ghost of John Houseman.
You and I know that this is a sickness, but those bastards at the Social Security Administration refuse to recognize that I have a legitimate disability. But don't worry, I'll wear them down eventually.

3. As a parent, I long ago accepted the fact that my days of sleeping nude are over. But pajamas are a little too grandfatherly for my tastes. I split the difference and wear boxer shorts to bed. I have a large collection of licensed character boxers. Batman, Sponge Bob, Shrek, The Grinch, whatever… I'm not that picky about it. I think my favorite is either Kung-Fu Scooby or the blue M&M guy.

You know those "Blogs of Note" Blogger sticks at the bottom of the Dashboard page? One of the recent additions to that list is one of the funniest blogs I've seen: The Casual Friday. "Immixmarketer" uses Site Meter on his blog, and has his statistics available publicly. Check out the boost his traffic got once he became a Blog of Note.
Nice. I could use hits like that. I'm not greedy. I'll take just one day of his traffic.
Did you see that post where -G.D. confessed that she met a boyfriend through her blog? She's pretty much challenged us to figure out who it is. This guy is my number one suspect.
She's totally got it for bad boys.

2. I'm not an overly emotional person. I'm the type of guy that relies on logic and reason more than emotion. There are three things that consistently make me want to cry: the last twenty minutes of Schindler's List, that "One More For The Road" song that Bette Middler sang to Johnny on the last real episode of his Tonight Show, and the way Girlfriend still looks at me.

So I've been thinking for a while about doing one of those "100 things about me" posts. It seems like it'd be kinda fun. It also seems like it'd be kinda dumb. I've seen lots of those posts but I've never actually read all 100 things. I doubt I've ever read half of them. Usually I read the first six and the last two.
So anyway, I think it'd be informative to lay 100 useless facts on you. But I'm going to do it differently. I'm going to do one at a time. Sometimes it will be a stand alone post, other times I'll just tack a useless fact on the end of an unrelated post.
This way I can be reasonably assured that people are actually reading #7-#98, plus it gives me something to post on days that I'm too lazy to write something more substantial.
And so here is the first installment.
100 things about me
1. My right foot is one half shoe size larger than my left. My right shoe is always the one that develops a hole.
