If you've ever looked at my design and wondered how I've achieved a certain effect, like how I've integrated Docking Boxes or how I use sticky posts and asides without plugins, then you might be interested in a behind the scenes peek at my theme.
One thing you may notice is that there are quite a few orphaned images, i.e., images that are no longer used anywhere in the theme. Documents can remain in a search engine's cache for months or even years and when those cached pages are viewed, they often call old images. I hate seeing my 404 logs cluttered with that sort of thing, so I leave those images in place for at least several months after I stop using them.
This is not intended as a drop-in theme. Several features are tailored specifically to my blog, like looking for categories with a specific name or ID. If you try to use this theme unmodified on your own blog, you'll almost certainly experience errors or other unexpected issues. No documentation or change log is provided. The theme is provided only as a courtesy to those curious about what's under the hood here.
