Add 5 cups of water in a pot and add chopped vegetables.
Put pot on medium heat flame cook it until the vegetables are soft-cooked as all the flavors come out.
Transfer hot water about 1/4 cup separate in a bowl and soak tamarind in it.
Mash dal smooth, when pressure goes.
The dal needs to be smooth, otherwise sambar taste alert within a few hours.
When all the vegetables and dal cooked smooth. Then add sambar powder, turmeric, and salt.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes. Add the tamarind pulp, filter it if you desire.
Blend the smooth dal with water.
Check it if enough salt and sourness. If anything needed add more. Then add coriander leaves.
