Veg Manchurian Recipe – How to Make?

Veg Manchurian Recipe

Ingredients:

We have divided Veg Manchurian ingredients into two steps

For Manchurian balls ingredients
 Finely shredded cabbage: 250g (grams)
 Carrot: 1 no or 20g (grams)
 Slightly crushed green peas: 1/3 cup or 30g (grams)
 Finely chopped French beans: ¼ cup or 30g (grams)
 Finely chopped capsicum:  ¼ cup or 30g (grams)
 Red chili paste: 1 tbsp
 Salt: as required
 Corn flour: 3 to 4
 Maida/all-purpose flour: 3 to 4 tbsp
 Red food color: a pinch
 Chopped ginger: 1 Tsp
 Oil: for deep frying
Manchurian sauce ingredients
 Chopped ginger: 1 tbsp
 Chopped garlic: 1 tbsp
 Salt: a pinch
 Oil:  2 to 3 tbsp
 Corn flour: 1 tbsp
 Red chili powder: 1 Tsp
 Water: 1 cup or 250ml
 Spring onion bulbs: 1/3 cup or 30g (grams)
 Vinegar: 1 tbsp
 Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
 Chili sauce: 2 tbsp
 Pepper powder: 1 Tsp
 Chopped spring onions: 2 tbsp

Directions:

Preparing the Manchurian veg balls

Take a bowl; add chopped vegetables, chopped ginger, salt, red chili paste, a pinch of food color, corn flour and all-purpose flour. Mix them well.

The mixture divides into two equal parts. Make small lemon-sized balls and keep asides.

Deep frying

For deep frying; heat the oil.

Put the balls in the heating oil; one by one carefully.

Fry it until orange-red color. Take them onto a paper and keep aside.

Making veg Manchurian

Take 1 cup water mix 1 tbsp cornflour in it and keep aside.

Add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, spring onion bulbs, capsicum and sauté for a minute. Then heat the oil in a pan.

Next add salt, vinegar, dark soy sauce, black pepper powder, red chili powder red chili paste and mix well.

Add cornstarch mix until it starts to show bubbling.

When bubbles start, add fried orange-red color balls in it. Then start mixing well. Cook it until gravy disappears.

Add finely chopped spring onion and then turn off the flam of your stove.

Then serve the hot and yummy dish.
